In 2001, Korean Community Center opened a fine art gallery named Bennett in Northern New Jersey and later changed the name to Gallery Yonhee to honor one of our sponsors.

Gallery Yonhee represents and supports international contemporary artists. We seek to provide our artists with a solid podium that achieves both to best present the individuality of their oeuvres and to draw attention to the works’ inherent historic and cultural significance. Gallery Yonhee hopes to close the gap between the public and the art establishment by introducing artists who can easily convey their message in a publicly relevant method.

지역의 건강한 문화예술 발전을 영위하기 위해 2001년 문을 연 Korean Community Center에서 운영하는 연희 갤러리는 대중들에게 미술의 이해를 돕고 생활 속에서 예술을 향유할 수 있도록 매달 한국과 뉴욕 및 국제적으로 활발한 활동을 하고 있는 작가들을 초대하여 수준 높은 전시를 선보이고 있습니다. 그러나 멀게만 인식되는 대중과 예술간의 거리감을 없애고 작품에 대한 이해도를 높이기 위하여 전문 음악가들을 초대하여  전시된 작품과 같은 주제를 가진  곡들을 선곡하여 음악회를 개최함으로써 대중들의 작품에 대한 이해를 돕고 이를 통하여 음악과 미술의 생활화를 이루고자 노력하고 있습니다. 또한 오픈 립셉션에는 음악회 외에 작가가 직접 대중들에게 작품을 소개하는 시간을 마련하여 대중과의 질의시간을 통해, 작가와 작품의 홍보에도 많은 노력을 기울이고 있습니다.

 

2019년 새로은 프로젝트로 시작된  $1000 online Sale은 이메일로 콜렉터 들에게 작가와 작품 리스트를 보냄으로 연중내내 작품 판매에도 많은 시간 투자를 하고 있습니다.

영제네레이션 아트 프로젝트로는 매년 이루어지는 어린이 미술대회와 Call for Artists로 어린이들과 신진 작가들에게 잠재능력의 개발 및 창작활동을 격려해 줍니다.

 

KCC Yonhee Gallery 는 매년 15회 이상의 전시를 진행하며 다양한 문화 컨텐츠를 제공하는 공간으로 운영됩니다.
